The City of Port St. Lucie, FL. was incorporated in 1962. First built  as a quiet bedroom community with an eye toward attracting new residents from colder climates, it has transfomed itself into a Community For All Ages. It has taken a few years, but now there is growth in almost every corner of the 88 square  miles of the city.

     Centrally located at almost an equa-distance between Orlando and Miami, it offers all comers a safe and clean environment to live in that is a short drive to major metropolitan cities,airports and World-Class family entertainment.

     Building a new “Downtown” is not easy to do; but the City of Port St. Lucie has gotten off to a rowsing start  with  the completion of the brand new 100,000 square foot Civic Center. With banquet halls,recreation rooms,basketball court, and workout gym along with a beautiful Green Square and outdoor stage, it will become that all-important community gathering place that Port St. Lucie has never really had.
